We will be sailing from Rome to visit Naples, Mykonos, Ephesus, Santorini, and Athens which would be a great way to see some of the most beautiful and historical sites in the Mediterranean all while tasting some of the very best coffee in the world.
Rome: In Rome, coffee is an important part of daily life, and you'll find plenty of places to get a good cup of espresso. Many locals stand at the bar to drink their coffee quickly, but you can also sit down at a table if you prefer.
Rome is a city rich in history, with ancient ruins and landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain. There will be optional tours to visit local coffee roasters in Rome.
Naples: Naples is known for its strong, flavorful coffee, and you'll find a number of traditional coffee shops called "bars" throughout the city. The most famous type of coffee from Naples is the "caffè sospeso," or "suspended coffee," where a customer pays for two coffees but only consumes one, leaving the other one "suspended" for someone in need to redeem later.
Naples, is known for its beautiful beaches, rich cultural heritage, and delicious food. While in port there will be time to go visit one of Italy's largest coffee roasters.
Mykonos: Mykonos is a beautiful island in the Aegean Sea that is known for its vibrant nightlife and stunning beaches. You'll find plenty of coffee shops and cafes where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the stunning views.
The island of Mykonos in Greece, is known for its picturesque white-washed houses, sandy beaches, and vibrant nightlife. You will have time to go explore and taste coffee and how its prepare in Greece.
Ephesus: Ephesus is an ancient city in Turkey that is home to a number of historical landmarks and cultural treasures. While you're there, you'll be able to find coffee at local cafes and restaurants.
Ephesus, an ancient city in modern-day Turkey that was once home to the Temple of Artemis, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Here we will enjoy a fabulous coffee while taking in the breathtaking sights.
Santorini: Santorini is another beautiful island in the Aegean Sea, known for its iconic white-washed buildings and stunning sunsets. You'll find a number of coffee shops and cafes.
Athens: Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece, and it has a rich coffee culture. You'll find coffee shops and cafes throughout the city, and many locals enjoy drinking their coffee at a "kafenion," a traditional coffee shop where people gather to socialize and play board games.
Athens is also home to landmarks such as the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. We will have optional tours to visit coffee roasters that have won Barista championships.
